Once again I am glad that I don't rely on my backyard garden for survival. I'm devastated enough to have discovered that last year's blight has returned, and will claim all 15 of my beautiful tomato plants. *sigh* Wishing better luck to the pros ( Read more... )

Every year I promise myself I will reinforce the garden fence with bunny-proof wire. Every year, I don't. Which is why a wabbit bolted out of there this morning and I could see she had dug a little depression under the shelter of my tomato plants and marigolds. We have had many lovely May days of late, interspersed with many rainy, rainy days. Makes a nice spring balance - unless you are Luke's baseball team.
